Each time I leave a country I may not be back for 6 months/1 year, and on return I cannot remember how to use the appliances eg TV, cooker, or stereo system or 🇯🇵bath🤣
So I leave little stickers on them like “On -> “,”Grill->” etc

There was free speech before they existed, and will be after. They are just about free broadcasting.
