Russell Vought would have immense power to enforce Trump’s extremist agenda if he's confirmed as OMB director. Vought has made it clear he will not hesitate to violate laws and norms in service of MAGA. app.sosha.ai/s/K4AoOsIg

Where are the constituents of Republican congresspeople who don't like what is happening? Are they flooding their representatives' offices with visits and phone calls? They helped get us here and now need to also hold the sycophants they helped put in Congress accountable.

They know what they are doing is illegal. They don't care. Trump has always gotten away with doing illegal things. Even if they are eventually put to a stop, the courts were built for 18-century timelines and not the pace of the 21st century. They will have accomplished their goal. /1

Why do Democrats keep trying to operate within norms when the Republicans have already demonstrated that no norm is too sacred if it means a win for them? This is not a winning strategy.
35+ Dems plan to hold the Senate floor all night to oppose the confirmation of Musk-Trump funding freeze architect Russ Vought. THIS is how we fight back while in the minority.
