I think it’s kind of insane when Warcraft text goes “trolls are superstitious 🤪” at any point simply because they’re like “yeah there’s spirits everywhere and you can ask them to do things or make weird potions.” Like that’s not superstitions that’s literally how their magic actually works.

So with this Horde neighborhood I'm starting, I had actually written this cute little blurb about how there is no HOA and we'll never tell how to decorate your yard, but then I saw a screenshot of a yard with a statue of a man with a giant, erect penis and I thought, "maybe we do need some rules." 😆

i love that folks seem to love the premise of midnight enough to want to engage with it in roleplay so much but i think the whole plot of thalassian elves unifying as one isn't going to be as impactful in rp if everyone's already roleplaying as friends with each other several months before midnight

it's just a little insane to me because not even the pre-patch to the pre-patch has dropped out and people are already roleplaying entire elven coalition movements, paladin and priestly orders, campaigns where quel'thalas requests help from the alliance directly, etc and it's like. bro??
