I would interested to see the Venn diagram between people reversing Carter today and those that actually worked to get him re-elected. So many of the folks in my world talking about how great he was voted for the other guy in 1980.

25 years ago, I was prepping for a college choir tour in Europe. We traveled and performed for 9 weeks in 6 different countries. It opened my mind and completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Folks in Illinois. Have you seen this? These workgroups are asking local Boards of Ed to sign on to Vision 2030. Take a look and see what you think. I’m noticing red flags. Curious if you see what I see…. illinoisvision2030.com

The Senate has voted to repeal GPO-WEP! Thanks to nonstop activism from a broad coalition of union members, over 2 million public service workers will finally be able to access the Social Security benefits they spent their careers paying into. bit.ly/3P7Cd03

We should always be asking how we can improve public schools.

But doing that also means rejecting failed ideas.

School vouchers have had catastrophic results for kids and families.

Because with vouchers, it’s the schools doing the choosing.

Immigration reform doesn't have to be cruel. Democrats offered a plan earlier this year in Congress, with virtually everything the GOP wanted, but they rejected it at Trump's demand so it could be a campaign issue. Remember the cruelty is a feature, not a bug, for him.

I try not to get grouchy about this but every time a white dude makes some version of the “blue sky is an echo chamber” argument all I hear is “I have no idea what it’s like to get racist and sexualized threats every day”

Why throw punches when wearing helmets? Dudes just got hit worse on every single snap, but go ahead and punch away. Maybe slap upside the helmet for funsies, too. Boys are dumb.

Impossible to sum it up any better than this.
In a world where we are systematically taught to hate and envy, we should sit in gratitude for the people who have the courage to love: to love themselves, to love us, to love our joy, to love the human right to love. If you are one of those loving people, then I’m sitting in gratitude for you.

Well, not this old warrior. I’ve seen much worse from the U.S. government in my day. I’m concerned for our country, but not a bit scared of these miscreants. I’m ready to do my part.

Hegseth is so innocent he paid off the woman who accused him of rape & got her to sign an NDA.

Gaetz is so innocent he resigned Congress to keep the report from coming out, after asking for a pardon.

Trump is so innocent only 26 women have accused him of doing what he said on tape he likes to do.
