That’s a really poor team selection . Why isn’t Mount brought in? And who is going to play left, who is right and who is centre forward. I can’t figure this one out at all.

I am hearing Shea Lacey may be involved tonight, obviously not as a starter but from the bench. I’ve been looking forward to this for a few years now so I really hope he gets in the pitch

So nice to see Leeds in the relegation zone where they belong. I hope they stay there for the rest of the season- and with the teams above them - West Ham, Forest, Fulham finding form I think that’s quite likely .

Also noticed the excellent movement by de Ligt before he headed the ball. Made it really difficult to mark him and got his rewards.

I noticed that both our goals today were excellently directed headers- guided into the corner of the net. I wonder if that’s something we have been working on.

Being wise after the event but now you’re allowed to make 5 substitutions wouldn’t it make sense to leave 1 unused just in case? Just a thought.

Hmmm not sure at all about this line up. Amad / Mbuemo was working so well on the right so why change it? Unless he is actually playing Big Harry up front with Mazroui as RCB.

Very disappointed about the missed opportunity yesterday, but I have to say watching West Han’s demise is cheering me up. I hate that club.

Didn’t see the game but I hear Shaw was v good. One to discuss is can he play on our problem LWB position. Does he have the legs? Then we play three from De Ligt, Yoro, Mazroui, Maguire , Martinez and Heaven at CB. That way we finally get to drop Dalot!

Whoever had the idea to sign a goalie that can save shots, and to re-sign 2022 Casemiro was a bloody genius. That’s all it took.

Have to slag the team selection off to guarantee the win. It’s not easy but I think the decision to play Dalot over Dorgu is very bad. It’s also harsh on Mount that he’s not playing and I feel really bad for Mainoo

Rashford brilliant season to get contract then massive decline. Salah brilliant season to get contract then massive decline. VVD the same. So now we have Casemiro and Shaw playing well in the last year of their contracts.

Looking at the third international break of the season coming up in Nov and I wonder why these games couldn’t have been played at the same time as AFCON. No disruption to domestic leagues in Nov, and minimise the unfair impact on some clubs from AFCON. does this make too much sense for UEFA / FIFA

Watching the Brighton game for the millionth time (as you do) and I am so impressed with Casemiro’s assist to Cunha. Control impeccable, vision superb and timing and weight of pass perfect. He may not have the legs of a 27 year old but he still has class and that was class.
