Absolutely. Unity has some good tools for that, even if you’re an Unreal dev like me 👌
I can't recommend using a repository to backup your code enough, even if it is a personal project. Many times did I rescue accidentally deleted files, diff-ed code to find changes I forgot I made and easily moved my project between PCs. Also, it is good experience for future programming jobs.
