Finished Dispatch! I really liked that. I think if I were to restart it there would be some stats I would assign differently but overall I'm really happy with my decisions, even if it feels like some of them didn't matter as much as I was hoping they would?

At episode 6 of Dispatch now. Really liking where it's going. There have been some things that bothered me a little, namely that some of the decisions feel a little forced and strangely placed. The dispatch game itself is actually really fun, though I can take or leave the hacking minigame.

“Patience”, a four-panel comic. 1. A large, rugged, intimidating badger sits impatiently at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles). A fox trembles next to him as the badger’s number is called by a representative. “Number 78?” 2. The rep who called the badger from the queue, a brown, long-eared dog, sits at his desk as a large shadow of a man looms over him. “Alright. You listenin’?” The badger starts. “Cuz zI’m gonna talk real straight with you.” 3. The badger stands in a vulnerable stature. Scratching his belly nervously, looking away at the small rep. “It’s hards fer me bein’ in crowded places like this. M-Makes me anxious… ‘n talk funny. So, uh. I’m askin’ that you please be patience with me.” 4. The rep understands the badger’s plight clearly. Although his choice of words make it a little difficult, he assures the large, brave badger in kind. “Of course. We’ll get you out of here in no time, sir.” The badger softens. “T-Thank yew. I apreeshutates yer kindness.” This comic is based on a true story. Something I witnessed in real life at my local DMV some time ago. It was too precious and relatable for me not to put to paper. I hope you like it!

I started it (just finished episode 1!) and am really enjoying it but man this game has the most pointless QTEs since Heavy Rain. Like I feel they actually got in the way of the excellent animation.

But hey you can turn them off which is a nice feature!

Is Dispatch worth it? I kinda wanna nab it because it feels like something I'd enjoy vibes-wise but I worry the dispatch minigame might be difficult?
