Tonight's aurora borealis over northern Indiana has been spectacular. These past couple of years have been amazing for sky watching between the comets and auroras.

I found a beautiful house that is pretty much everything I've ever wanted in my own place... now I must will my way into getting the money for it come the day of the auction. 😭

After about 20 attempts, I've finally got a working prototype coded entirely through prompts given to Gemini CLI. Depending on feedback I get from testing, I will be rewriting this myself. It's not perfect, but still nice to have a working prototype of a concept within a day. #gamedev #ai

I'm really trying to embrace Gemini CLI for programming, but it continuously gets stuck on things that should be simple (such as limiting something to 18) and telling me it fixes it with its repeated code rewrites but it never works. I want to jump in and fix it myself because it's so frustrating. 😂

I'm letting Gemini AI do something I know how to properly do and trying to explain to it how to do it, but it's just not getting it right. Very frustrating to deal with but still rather intriguing to watch it slowly figure things out while simultaneously breaking everything else.

I've decided to play around with AI again here lately, mostly with Gemini CLI. It's amusing how much confidence it exudes when telling you for the 6th time it fixed an issue with its execution of the prompt only for it to still have the same exact issue. 😭 It's almost like I'm at work.

I'm trying to turn my phone into less of a time waster and more into a platform that will keep me productive. So far my attempts haven't worked, but I'm trying something new this time around.

I have a two-day meeting in Ohio starting tomorrow, and the dress code is "business casual." I'm never really sure what all that entails, but I typically go for slacks and a neutral or pastel polo.
I should probably trim up the beard a bit, though. I'm starting to look a bit archaic. 😅

I watched an early screening of Superman last night. It's not the Superman people have grown accustomed to at the cinema, but it's the Superman we need: it's all about kindness and humanity... I don't understand how any of what was portrayed is "woke," but I guess I don't get that terminology.

I'm at Indy Popcon this weekend with my brother. It's currently so hot in here I think my sweat is melting. Maybe next year I'll be here to promote an upcoming #gamedev project for myself. 👀

This one is for devs with full-time jobs and lives... how do y'all juggle everything and still make time to work on projects? I'm pushing 55-60 hours of work/commute a week and then have to take care of household chores and relationships once I get home. It's hard to find the time.

I forgot how painful it is to get my hopes up for Indiana professional sports teams.
I wish all days could be as mentally peaceful for me as yesterday. Despite the chaos, I still had that inner peace, but it never lasts past a few hours before I get roped back into the chaos of my surroundings.
Maybe I can figure out how to always be there mentally one day. 👀

I'm gonna be honest with y'all ... I'm actually a little bit sad I can't get the Switch 2 on launch day, or anytime soon for that matter. This will mark the first Nintendo console I haven't gotten on launch day since the 3DS. 😬

This feels a bit like a bad idea to me based on statistics, but I'm actually not surprised. I had a feeling this was his last year with the Knicks after their loss to the Pacers in the ECF.
I'm really missing being able to work on my Godot projects. 😭 I either need to figure out a way to get my desktop over here or at least fix the laptop.

It's a shame when you have to padlock your store's breakroom restrooms because employees are either pooping in the trash cans instead of the toilet or smearing it on the toilet seat.
