What would you need on your ideal desert island? Our STEM group have been investigating how we can power our desert island looking at renewable energy. They decided to use a mixture of solar, wind and hydropower. This is the model of the island. What do you think?

The year 10 GCSE Biology group were lucky enough to have a visit from a member of the Quekett Microscopical Club.
After collecting leaves, students were shown how to set the leaf in resin. then look at the imprint under the microscope at different magnifications

I work with Red Balloon teaching young people who've suffered trauma. Some staff are running the Northstowe Half Marathon to help raise funds for more therapeutic spaces in the centre, so we can keep on supporting our students and their wellbeing.
