Hazel doesn't fit, at school, out in the world, even at home. When her best friend Jack changes & then disappears, she goes after him entering a world of dark fairy tales. Anne Ursu's writing is alive with imagery & Hazel's voice, true to childhood both aware and inexperienced. #SnowQueen #kidlit 📚👍🏻
