Just crawled from under my rock to learn Rob and Michelle Reiner were murdered. Their son has been arrested. It makes me sad to think about. I also find it strange that Mr Reiner’s film career is firmly bookended with Spinal Tap, with so many wonderful films sandwiched between.

I’ve been off social media for a week now. It’s good but the reason is terrible. For once it’s not the posts, but rather the comment section that has me feeling like hope is lost.
With the current situation and people losing SNAP benefits, many have posted “struggle meals” which is helpful.

I made an apple spice cake for the family. It was so successful my husband asked if I could make another one on Tuesday for our friends arrival! So I’ll have to get more stuff to make another. 😂🥰 I’m always happy when something I make comes out really good. (Even if I can’t eat it).

Well, my cleaning is done for the day next I’m making a cake. An Apple spice cake. Then I’ll be cooking dinner for my husband. I’m making a pizza for the kids. I’ll have a salad.

Just heard the news that Ozzy died. I’m surprised and yet… wow. Had the good fortune of seeing him with sabbath in ‘78 and solo in like 80 and again again. While kinda left that music behind…that era holds a place in my heart.

Nothing ever goes as planned. While doing some trimming and overall cleaning of the back deck area a board suddenly broke. This wasn’t surprising. We’ve had replace the deck on our todo list for a while. So while not surprising, it was only surprising it happened now. Life happens!
