Today I was looking at wrapping paper & found 1 I like when a lady came up to me & said, “you know they have better ones over there, you’ll get way more”. It took everything in me to resist saying “well I only have 3 people to shop for cause everyone else died in the last 5 years.” Kinda wish I had.

If they don’t give my girl Cynthia Erivo an Oscar this season I’m gonna lose it. Her “fiyero” cry is one of the most emotional things I’ve heard in a while. Give her an Oscar dammit!

I started playing Inscryption today and was utterly confused at first but of course right when I have to go to bed I start figuring it out. And yes I am still a little confused, but the intrigue to answer questions has finally come.

I just started playing hollow knight like 3 days ago (haven’t even made it past the 1st area I am not good) but watching everyone freak out about silksong right now makes me want to keep trying to beat hollow knight cause the hype seems so real.

I’ve been trying to do research on my Hawaiian ancestry and I’m so annoyed that everything is paywalled. It’s already super hard to find documentation for kanaka but the extra challenge is just frustrating.

I’ve watched 2 episodes of Chief of War and I cannot express how incredible it is hear 'ōlelo on a large show like this. Getting to hear the language of my ancestors spoken in context has been so rewarding and I’m so proud when I can understand even just little bits. Aloha nui Hawai’i.

My birthday is a little under a month away and the reason that is important is because it means I can put my Halloween decorations up soon. My house rule is I can put them up after my birthday lol.

We went on a little walk as a family to clear our heads, and spent some time feeling mana from sacred stones. Thankful for the ‘āina and our ancestors bringing healing to us on our way.
