The studio heating has become temperamental and prone to lapses as the London cold sets in. This doesn’t fuss anybody on a frosty Maida Vale morn, but it pauses me to wonder. Amongst all the extraordinary images of Mr Iyengar I have encountered since the 1970s, I have never seen one in the snow.
