Responsive typography is getting so much simpler. This already works in a couple browsers, and the fallback is minimal:
--progress: progress(100vi, 320px, 1200px);
font-size: calc-mix(var(--progress), 1rem, 1.25rem);
But that will get even better…

The 🇬🇧UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has officially designated Apple as having Strategic Market Status (SMS). After four years investigating Apple’s restrictions on browser engines and web apps, the CMA now has statutory authority to enforce a code of conduct.

@nerdy.dev @bram.us @una.im I love container queries, but one big issue for me is using them inside a flex or grid container. Are there are plans to somehow allow a grid-cell to be the container for items positioned on the grid? I know you can wrap the items but that just requires more elements.

I can very much recommend not balancing a very hot mug of tea on the back of a sofa and then sitting down on it, having forgotten it was there and scolding your back. It's not pleasant!
