We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Aggrey Burke and are sending our thoughts and condolences to all those who knew him.
His legacy will continue through the Aggrey Burke Fellowship, supporting Black medical students in psychiatry since 2023.

We & @nhsconfed.org have released a new report which shows that an unacceptable number of people with acute mental health needs are being sent miles from home for treatment. It sets out key recommendations to help address inappropriate out of area placements.
