Yesterday, the City of Boston made it clear that they reject billionaires and millionaires trying to buy the city and will standup for leaders like @wutrain who will stand up to Trump’s authoritarian inclinations.
Thank you, Boston 🙏

This is what happens when you have someone cosplaying as the Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security. Kristi Noem is putting lives at risk with her willful incompetence.
Two days after catastrophic floods roared through Central Texas, FEMA did not answer calls from thousands of survivors, documents show. https://trib.al/c6y1tNU

A picture from the U.S. Capitol that captures this somber moment in American history that we are all living through.

What happened to Senator Padilla should alarm everyone. The Democratic Caucus is united against the lawless Trump administration.

I’ll have a lot more to say in the next few months. For now, I am thrilled to share that I’ll be attending @umichlaw.bsky.social in the fall.

I grew up Catholic, but as a gay man I felt I had lost my place in the church. Pope Francis was the first pope I can remember to actively make the church more welcoming, especially for marginalized people. His moral clarity will be missed. May we all carry his legacy forward.

I’ll say it again! Every college and university must band together, combine their resources, and create a joint fund to challenge Trump’s affront to the Constitution, scholarly independence, and academic freedom in the courts. Every major law firm should do the same.

BREAKING: On Friday, the federal government issued new demands of Harvard University. The university's lawyers just responded: back off.

Performative grandstanding from a man with little regard for this foundational document, the Constitution, and the rule of law.

Trump and Vance may be turning their backs on our ally to placate our adversary, but Americans must always stand on the side of freedom and democracy. We must stand with Ukraine.

This man is beyond shameful, blatantly carrying water for Putin. A complete dishonor to every American who helped defeat the USSR during the Cold War.

Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush must be rolling in their graves.
Trump on Ukraine:

"I think I have the power to end this war. And I think it's going very well. But today I heard, 'Oh well we weren't invited.' Well you've been there for three years. You should have ended it three years. You should've never started it. You could've made a deal"

Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and dictators around the world are rejoicing at the chaos Elon Musk and Donald Trump are creating at every level of the U.S. Federal government.

For a body that has done so much bipartisan work in the last few years to combat sexual violence in the military, Hegseth’s confirmation is truly shameful.

Trump starts his administration by blatantly violating the U.S. Constitution to try and scapegoat immigrants. Just a reminder of what the 14th Amendment says about birthright citizenship.
