I've just finished watching S2 of The Gold and it is superb. The second series far surpasses the first, taking the story out of the world of a gold heist and showing the ripples of organised crime around the world.

I've just finished watching S2 of The Gold and it is superb. The second series far surpasses the first, taking the story out of the world of a gold heist and showing the ripples of organised crime around the world.

On this day in 1982, IFK Göteborg made history.
They becmae the first Swedish and Nordic club to win a major European trophy, a record which still stands today.
It wasn't just a lucky break either. They repeated the feat in 1987. It was their golden era.

I think subscription services have it too easy atm. Audible just raised its monthly fee without even attempting to increase its service offering: not even some bullshit fudge like how cable tv would chop up old packages in new ways. Just "we're taking more money from you".

I've just finished reading Hoffer's True Believer. This book was written in 1951 and it has blown my mind how relevant it still is. Virtually EVERY page had something which relates to the world today, be it MAGA, incel culture, Christian fundies, Islamic extremism, D.O.G.E etc. Amazing. #booksky 📚💙
