Fact 10: Those who oppose this regime and preserve hope for return of a Constitutional, liberal democracy must begin planning now for a second reconstruction when the disaster is over. The Nazi regime only lasted 12 years and modern Germany arose from its ashes.

Fact 9: Most of those who are offered a chance to acquire power and protection by siding with the regime will do so, whether they are individuals or organizations. Others will be too afraid to support opposition. This is a crushing and demoralizing fact, but it is inevitable.

Fact 8: If the regime is not driven out soon by action in Congress or on the streets, their rule can only end in disaster. Whatever side one chooses, we will all be caught up in an economic and cultural collapse of catastrophic proportions. This is inevitable.

Free and fair elections are a thing of the past. The run-up to 2026 and 2028 elections are irrelevant distractions. This regime will not give up power at the ballot box.

Fact 7: The regime will maintain the trappings of democracy but pervert them to provide camouflage for the authoritarian nature of government. Lawful protest will not be outlawed but it will be carefully controlled and subject to brutal assault by both ICE agents and the U.S. military and police.

This escalation is a planned strategy to establish a domestic militia loyal to the Oval Office, not the Constitution.

For others, the protections of legal status are falling away and all citizens of color are suffering harassment, as are those publicly opposing ICE activities. ICE attacks will soon spread to any American who is perceived to be opponent of the President.

Fact 6: ICE now has a budget larger than the U.S. marines. They are a tool of the administration. The forces of ICE, with the collaboration of the National Guard are supposedly deployed to arrest and deport undocumented immigrants, which they do based on race, language and culture.

They are already performing acts of war that they understand are illegal in international law. Once that bridge has been crossed, there is no retreating from it.

Its activities will soon expand to include harassment and prosecution of ordinary citizens in the opposition. Ultimately there is a real threat of suspension of habeas corpus, at which stage citizens will begin to disappear without legal recourse.

Fact 4: The Department of Justice is a committed arm of the administration, whose major purpose is no longer independent investigation and prosecution of crime, terrorism or threats to the homeland, but instead serves to track down and punish opponents of the President and his administration.

They will be used against anyone who is perceived as an enemy of the MAGA movement. The declaration of a state of national emergency is certain - only its timing is uncertain, and is dependent on the success of engineered unrest and its attendant propaganda.

Fact 3: The mechanisms for martial law are being put in place in cities and states that are perceived to be in opposition to the Presidency. This is preparatory to expansion of their control throughout the country.

Because of the corruption of the Supreme Court, the collapse of the last legal protections of Constitutional rights is assured. The Constitution is effectively held in abeyance as long as the Supreme Court does not preserve or defend it, but serves as a politically loyal agency of the administration

Fact 2: Currently, lower courts provide the only protection for the rule of law and preservation of Constitutional rights. Without the overarching protection of the Supreme Court, however, their ability to do so is limited both in time and scope.

I spent a day with Bill Zanker in 1994 with a CBS News crew when he was running “The Great American Backrub”. Now he heads “Fight Fight Fight” to funnel billions of dollars to his buddy Donald Trump. He received this letter from the Homeland Security Committee, no doubt to his bemusement.
