Someone I work with in freelance told me I was undervaluing my work. The truth is that I always find it hard to price myself up, since every pitch is different, and budget ceilings change all the time.
So yeah, I really appreciated that honesty. Being reminded of my worth felt pretty great.

Saw Hamnet yesterday and my main take-away is that Max Richter continues to be one of my favourite score composers ever. Everything he touches just adds so much emotional depth. The movie was pretty good too in the way it came together at the end.

What a heart wrenchingly honest movie about loneliness, connection and loss. I teared up 3-4 times throughout this movie. Funny and endearing characters, great performances and beautiful cinematography. If you love Japanese culture as well, it's a must watch.

Showing my age but does anyone else miss the days where we all burned CDs and DVDRWs? Watching that progress bar tick down before the disc tray spat it out. I had entire folders with collections of stuff. Now of course, all digital.

I made it to 20 titles! Pretty happy I got more gaming done than I usually do this year. It helped that some of these were super short of course. Had a real blast playing them!

Who knew my last game this year would turn out be one of my 2025 faves? I LOVED Keeper. Constantly creative, surprising despite its linearity. Feels like Tim Burton, Laika & Ghibli made a Journey-style puzzle adventure about a bird & her lighthouse. Top-tier Double Fine. Go play it if you haven't!
