A pyrrhuloxia, red and pale blue bird on a catclaw branch laden with fluffy yellow flowers. Normal pyrrhuloxia tend to be much more grey than this, but I took a bit of artistic license.

Sewing project to make pants that actually fit, and have glorious pockets. Using acid-washed canvas, and galaxy print cotton.
A pocket with a circular opening and a hem finished with cotton twill tape. A circular pocket opening with galaxy-print fabric backing. Large enough for phone, wallet, keys, and a spare galaxy. Pants Mark 1, with last-minute hip gusset and inner hems finished with cotton twill tape. These ones ALMOST turned out wearable, but alas, the waistband came out an inch too short in the back. Trying again from scratch.
