Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is not a fleeting trend—it is a fundamental pillar shaping policies that impact real lives. As we witness the public examples of EDI efforts being rolled back in the USA, we have an opportunity to reflect on EDI in the Canadian context and our legal landscape. EDI is embedded in Canadian law and cannot be easily undone. It is a vital and established component across various areas of law. This conference will explore the implications of global shifts around EDI and offer insights into the resilience of EDI principles within the Canadian legal framework. Join us as we delve into how we can continue to safeguard and advance these critical values. Lunch will be provided.
