Ok. I think I'm done with the weird nicknames for Trump and his cronies. It's more effort than it's worth and I just don't have the patience for it. Whimsy and joy can be found in places other than giving silly names to horrible people.

If you're looking for a way to help without leaving your house, fuck up a greedy landlord's day!
A fun thing you can do is pop onto Zillow, look at all rentals in a random chunk of the greater LA area, sort by recently changed, then check every price increase to see if it was more than 10%. If there's no obvious changes (didn't go from unfurnished to furnished) then report it for price gouging.

Finally calmed down enough that I can actually enjoy the super cheap coffee pods we got for not even $1.50 for 10. The peppermint mocha pods are okay.

The best method to avoid doomscrolling is to curate a space where doomposting isn't as common.
It's much harder to do that on a platform where interactions are king. Harder still when there's a profit incentive for it.
It's important to be informed, but it can be detrimental to obsess over it.
