I am easily moved, but not by the GdT #Frankenstein. It was too broad and dragged down by excessive production design. The moments between Goth and Elordi had some truth, but I think Isaac was a misfire. That gold hued bandage bikini - too Rocky Horror; the creature design - too paint by numbers.

#weapons I love the volume of questions these trailers leave us with. My biggest: where is #junedianeraphael? She seems fairly highly billed, so I wonder if her makeup or costuming is some sort of clue to bigger plot points. I am so ready for this pied piper nightmare!!!

@blankcheck.bsky.social I just watched #Vamps in anticipation of next week, and I have to say I found it charming. Heckerling loves James Cagney, sure, but Ritter and Silverstone have genuine chemistry, and it was good light fun with some pathos. I’d say this hits mid in the pantheon of Heckerling!

If you don’t want #dept.q ruined, don’t look up cast information on IMDB. I noticed an alias early on, and it’s been pointing to the twist this whole time. It’s still a fun show though.

I love #TopChef - Season 22 was another tremendous journey. #kristenkish gets me EVERY time when she lets her emotion out. The finale was so meaningful, and hats off to the winner!

The junior high schoolers they have writing #andjustlikethat really are predictable. The phone sex scene could have actually been something intimate and vulnerable, but you could feel that car horn coming a mile away.

If playing the game is a prerequisite to understanding the ending of #thelastofus, then the show did not do its job. This season had some great moments, but it did not come together. I’m just confused and disappointed.

#Andor leaves me with so many complex beautiful feelings. One of many marvels is my sadness for Dedra. A true product of the Empire, she never really learned to love anything else. She ended up a victim of her own resourcefulness and dedication, ground to pieces in the machine she helped build.

We had to shrug and get on with it. And we’ve adapted to the internet and everything since. Survival is cool.

We had to shrug and get on with it. And we’ve adapted to the internet and everything since. Survival is cool.
