Something that disheartens me to see is women that are nurses and EMTs and such have to carry mace to protect themselves from people they may have to also save. Women as a whole shouldn't have to feel unsafe, especially from those they help. It's not right.

I appreciate the sentiment around reusable bags, but often we forget to bring our bags with us when shopping, which leads to more bags that just end up in the trash anyway. I believe we should shift to biodegradable materials instead. Even if they have to cost 10 cents a bag or something.
