I worry about the dreariness of this account. In order to right this I’ve decided to periodically add some whimsy to it, and by it i mean my soul, not this account.

Final Fantasy 15 OST is a favourite. The best track off it has to be ‘home sweet home’ from the episode Prompto DLC. Something about the cello and the guitar and then the swelling strings really make for a beautiful thing!

Friend of mine keeps referring to Johnathan Bailey as ‘the Wicked man’, having just seen the film. Now i could be wrong, but I swear that’s Nicholas Cage?

There are some songs that I can no longer separate from the montage they’re used for in XYZ film or TV show.

The montage of the Derry girls “cleaning” that chip shop? Priceless, God Tier, phenomenal television.

They build each other up

Sometimes, I wish my problems could be solved with an emotionally charged monologue about the power of love or hope or some such. If the 11th doctor can kill a planet God monster with it I can get out of a deadline or two, surely

Here’s one of my favourite recent trees. I don’t know what sort it is, so i’ll call him ‘stephen’ until told otherwise. Stephen’s got beautiful branches, hasn’t he? And the way that the dark wood peaks out behind the patchwork of his smaller leaves? Magic.

I really wish I knew more facts about trees. My phone is filled with pictures of them, when I see pretty ones in the park and want to remember them, but I don’t think I could tell you a single worthwhile fact about any of them. It would be wonderful to have that specific dendrological exper-trees
