Upsetting
This is why I love my anvil. I had to bring out the 2 kg hammer for this, but more importantly having the upsetting block on the anvil makes this kind of work so much easier.

Drifting angles holes
This is my very janky process for pre drilling and then drifting holes at an angle. It's not pretty, and not exactly rocket surgery, but it got the job done.
There's probably better and cleaner ways of doing this, but it worked.

Drifting angles holes

It's busy times making stock for the coming Christmas markets, and today was oak leaf day. To make things a bit more interesting, I use a brass brush and some heat to give it a bit of a different look than the normal black steel.
