I love you too more than you know in that pure Platonic way; I love your strength, intelligence and personality, have a deep respect for you. I always think of those distantly apart molecules you once spoke of. I'm not inaccessibly distant dear friend; I'm sensitive but love a guiding hand. X 🥰🤗🌹

How is this benefitting the US agriculture industry? It's doing the opposite. What is wrong with these people?

A Place

existed in time's fragment
before mind recorded
colours
separating as the brush
moved on
she told me
a biggest difficulty the sky
its sunlight being brighter
than that laid on land
but I couldn't agree
with this self-analysis
my own was art history
at odds
with its creator's mind

I lay awake and watched
a dawn arrive
through black branches
captured
in the window
my head
lay on Flavia's breast
I felt her gentle rise and fall
of sleeping breath
her heartbeat
too I heard distinctly
and in some dream
she said so tenderly
"Oh Anaïs, I love you"
dread enveloped me

today's pleasure of daffodils
on a February warm day
one could have thought
it March or April so keen
the sunlight struck the sea
the fields and coastal path
brightened the beach
burnished river waterflow
heading
fresh out to greet salt sea

Hope

when the heart is heavy
hope replaces certainty
one walks that road
nothing can replace
a bright lit night

but dense darkness never
stays
even if the road grows darker
every element of pitch
will have light shone on
its face
as dawn destroys excuse
and
lights return at evening time

Second Thoughts

maybe perhaps
very possibly probably
Flavia was thinking
about Anaïs in terms
of a general friendship
Danish reassured
herself
dreams happen we've
no control over them
but she pressed Flavia's
nostrils a little harder
than usual
before she kissed them

there is a part of me
that misses you
it's like I've lost an anchor
sometimes not seeing
your upper lip blue eyes
as if the sea has taken
away the rock that held
the shore together fast
and all because of money
and one person's rancid past

love is a constant flow
refreshing as a waterfall
it has no preconceptions
like justice blind
feeding on its purpose
to love
and be loved in return
how poor in spirit
would we be without
each others love
this constant waterfall

Benign February

walking from
the estuary seaward
Clarice took a photo
of us as a group
couldn't be persuaded
by Flavia her former
paramour to have
her picture taken
but an article I found
about her explains
exactly why
we've spoken
I agreed
that living here and
reticence is wise
