I planned to launch something new every month. Six months later… I’ve launched two services — and already shut one down.

Instead, I renovated my house. Not quite the roadmap, but I’m still building. More soon on the one that’s still alive.

I should add Set to my toolkit more often. I mostly use it for working with unique values or optimizing performance, but it’s such a powerful feature that I should explore further.

The planned stack looks like this:
TypeScript: Makes code maintenance easier.
Lit: a lightweight library for building web components.
Bun: a new JavaScript runtime focused on performance.
SQLite: a simple and reliable database.
Drizzle ORM: simplifies database queries and keeps them clean.

I’ve been thinking about simplifying my web stack. Today, I tried removing both frontend and backend frameworks and started using Bun. It feels nice not worrying about how things work in library X — everything is my own code, and I can only blame myself.

Convex.dev offers the best developer experience I’ve encountered in my ~25-year coding career. It gets so many things right. Only a week in, but it already feels incredibly promising. Can’t wait to see where this journey leads!
