The legal protections enjoyed by the president while in office have always been justified by an understandable deference aimed at not interfering with his duties to the nation. Tell me again what services Donald Trump is rendering to the nation to merit those protections?

The president is elected and serves within the framework of the US Constitution. When he ceases to operate within that framework, he ceases to be president. This is an illegitimate regime that happens to hold de facto power for the moment.

Finally, the dream of every American patriot for centuries: our chance to destroy the insolent Greenlanders!

From Trump’s perspective, our century long alliances are like a grooming relationship where we promised to take care of our allies, so they came to trust us and let their guard down. Now, true to his sex-abuser nature, he plans to rape them.

Those don’t get mentioned now when he pumps shitcoin/social media, hosts WH Tesla commercials, excludes Russia from tariffs. Even market manipulation is barely noted. In terms of avoiding conflicts and adhering to ethical standards, his 1st term is closer to Carter’s than to this monstrosity. 2/2

Trump’s 1st admin was corrupt far beyond any that preceded it, but lip service was paid to the Emoluments Clause, releasing taxes, separation from daily business mgt, foreign interests at DC hotel, etc. 1/2

Columbia University has a $15 billion (and counting) endowment and is considered one of the top academic institutions in the world yet somehow they seem to be unfamiliar with the concept of FU money.
