Republicans froze SNAP—but we’re not standing by while West Virginians go hungry. 💙

What is SNAP?
A vital safety net that keeps West Virginians fed and our communities strong. When we support SNAP, we support dignity, health, and opportunity for everyone.

We’re proud to stand for the people — not the powerful.
Public education, affordable healthcare, women’s rights, workers’ rights, and a cleaner, fairer future for all.

Good morning Dems!
Things may feel chaotic and uncertain, but never forget the power of the people is greater than the people in power. 💪
This administration isn’t strong; it’s desperate. Stay hopeful, stay active, and keep standing together. 💙

At midnight, the federal government officially shut down. Democrats fought to safeguard ACA subsidies and Medicaid funding, but GOP leaders walked away—leaving critical programs at risk. This marks the 4th shutdown under Trump’s watch.

Today we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We carry with us the memory of the first responders, the everyday heroes, and all who showed extraordinary courage and unity in the face of tragedy.

May we continue to work toward a future rooted in peace, resilience, and community.

WV politicians sided with Trump to slash $1.1B from public media– gutting 65% of Allegheny Mountain Radio’s budget. In rural WV, that’s the only source for flood alerts, lost pets & local news. Even GOP Delegate Kyle calls it a lifeline.
