It's comforting seeing other counter culture black folks on this platform. One of my many insecurities is admitting that I'm black myself, because of the disrespect I receive from both whites and other blacks alike, especially living down in the deep south where the racial divide is still obvious.

I find it funny that I keep swapping back and forth between wanting to be more connected socially and accepting that I'm too cold and uncultured to be worth bothering with.
Wish I could just be happy to be alone. Watching others makes me yearn for connection, but it's just not feasible for me.
