The snow came and is now melting.
Our pipes burst, but we fixed them ourselves. The water buckets had to be broken up around the clock. We used most of our stockpile of firewood. Still the dogs, horses, and cats rolled around, ran, and played. It was magical. ☃️❄️❤️

This is cruelty. Their living conditions are horrific enough. This is the small thing that haves us hope it would get better.

Ok, Piglet is squealing until we pick her up, wrap her in a blanket and then she goes to sleep while we hold her. This is my lap several times a day. Not sure we can keep this up seeing as how she will grow to 500 pounds ❤️🐷.

Woke up this morning to the kittens making tortillas. It is never a slow morning on the farm. 🤣🤣🐱

Today we were picking up horse feed and a little pig came running through the parking lot. She had fallen off a pig truck headed to a factory. Meet the newest member of our farm sanctuary. Temporary name Piglet.

As we head into next week and the magnitude of what this next White House holds for our queer community and all of our marginalized siblings…. We are grateful for the escape our little farm is. Our focus is on healing harmed animals, but in truth those animals heal us.
