On this day, November 25, 1940 saw the release of the Walter Lantz cartoon known as Knock Knock. While it was an entry of entry of Walter Lantz’s Andy Panda series, it saw the debut of another character that would become a mainstay at the Walter Lantz studio, Woody Woodpecker.

Happy birthday Tweety! He was originally created by Bob Clampett but for most of his classic cartoon career, he was handled by Friz Freleng and paired up with Sylvester. Today, he’s a WB merchandising and spinoff icon. #LooneyTunes #tweetybird #Sylvester80

A few days ago was the 85th Anniversary of one of my favorite animated films, Fantasia. To celebrate the occasion I made this music themed edit.

Although really it was made a few years ago. #animation #photoedit #music

Now we go back to 1993. MGM/UA Home Video had some of the best LaserDisc sets on the market.

Every single classic Tom and Jerry short from 1940 to 1958 got released on two sets.

I kept my word. So here it is. An BTS article on TM Books and Video from the July 2004 issue of Classic Toy Trains. While some are familiar with the ones from OGR, here’s one rarely seen online.

Here’s something that I didn’t expect. A prototype cover for I Love Toy Trains Part 12. It wasn’t actually the AFT 4449 originally rather it was the multicolored City of Denver. #tmbooksandvideo #trains

Here’s a moment of silence to honour our troops who’d sacrificed our lives during the war. Lest we forget.

Happy Veterans/Rememberance Day to everyone.

21 years ago on November 10, 2004, The Polar Express was released.

I remember growing up with the original books as a kid and seeing the adaptation of the film itself in theaters was honestly an amazing experience.
I can never get enough of this film.

Just STOP ALREADY
Warner Bros. Discovery will announce whether or not they will sell the company in mid-late December.

Paramount Skydance has reportedly discussed a hostile takeover, potentially going directly to shareholders if the board decides not to approve the sale.
