If we bottle this, or even we let Forest get a second, or even just the first, it’s Farke again. I love the guy, and especially what he’s done recently, but he needs to start reading games. Making changes. Retaining control. He can’t defend a lead for shit, unless (like today) we’re well ahead.

Forest well on top here. Probably better for us in some ways because we’re so wasteful with our own possession. As long as they don’t score, it may wake us up. #lufc

I do not love the team selection tonight. Hopefully I’m wrong and Farke is right. Looks defensive to me and perhaps 2-3 players of lower quality than those on the bench. Not sure why Buonanotte is out either. #lufc

At a work event this weekend so missing the #lufc game, but didn’t think I’d be missing much and so that seems to be the case. Need a big second half to get a point now.

I am fairly happy with that result. #lufc very average compared to Everton second half, but battled and battled. A good point. Whatever you may wish, we’re a newly promoted side, Everton are established and Moyes is no joke.

Also, is it just me that feels like #lufc seem to have caused the Crystal Palace meltdown? We smash them 4-1 and since then they have been an absolute car crash. Ironic that they beat us 5-1 and the exact same thing happened to us 4 years ago…

Am I the only one who thinks that Wilson should have gone with a straight red for the challenge on Gudmundsson? Ball is nowhere near, and we all know it’s a cynical and dangerous foul on the man - from behind. #lufc

Elsewhere, #lufc look shaky as fuck at the back even in this new formation. We seem good at reduces chances during open play which is great, but when it gets scrappy no one puts their name on it. We don’t know when to clear and when to play out from the back and sometimes the ball just needs a hoof

For the record, I want Lucas Perri to be a success at #lufc and can forgive the odd mistake. The issue is that he doesn’t do anything well. He almost never holds the ball, he faces very few shots to save any (and his save % is worst in the league) and he can’t distribute.
