Watching what's happening in Gaza and reading the new hunger games book at the same time is gutting.

When I read these as a kid, none of it was real to me. Now, kids being murdered by a brutal regime is all too real.

Reading is absolutely political.

I have so many books that I’ve read to add to my book accountability post 😅😅 (just finished reading Compound Fracture which I LOVED)

Maybe tomorrow after work I’ll sort it out and make some posts while also scheduling insta posts

First bit of creative writing done for the first time in a while and I’m just really happy to be writing again.

I found it so difficult to start but me and my friend have decided that every Friday going forward we are going to write and it makes me excited to write again!

1k works done ✌️

I’ll be in London next week from 9am and I can’t check into my hotel until 3pm

Any suggestions for places to go preferably free or at least not too expensive! (other than National history museum as that will happen during the trip!)

Hoping that now that I finished the series that these next few days in work will go by a bit quicker knowing that I’ll be thinking of ideas for the essays

Might try and nab some paper from the till to write down ideas too 😅

Finished reading Mockingjay

I sobbed as I normally do by the end of the book

But now it means preparing to write these damn essays

Can I not just stay in bliss of knowing I’ve reread them?

A really common abuser tactic is to push and harass a person over and over again until they lash out in response, and then be like, "Oh my God that was so awful of you! I can't believe you did that!" And I wish more people would realize that.

This Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to celebrate the platonic loves in your life 🥰

Here are some books with friendships that I love!

What other books would you add?

The thought that I actually have to start researching and writing my thesis after I finish Mockingjay is daunting

Why can’t I just snap my fingers and have the essays done? It would cause so much less stress 😅😅

My rules of social media (especially on X/Twitter):
1. Be friendly
2. Support other creatives.
3. NEVER engage with trolls.
4. Lock your account if and when you need to. Your mental health is more important than being ‘visible’
