Equinox grew up in the 1960's, so 2026 was the far future. We imagined that no one would still have to be poor, sick, or oppressed, that we'd learned to live together happily, and that science and wisdom would have prevailed. It's not like that...but there's still a chance and there's still hope it can be. Someday. Tonight's music is an evocation of that, with much of the music from small netlabels that bloomed and vanished -- Yuki Yaki, Hertz, Voodoo, Acustronica -- but brought us lovely stuff, along with the Projekt label, still vibrant and alive.
