It was awful. We had daytime highs in the 20’s and lows around 5° with no power. House are not well insulated and lots of people had pipes bust. Day after we got power back we lost water due to frozen pumps. Lost a huge ash limb that just missed the house. 1 star. Do not recommend

Fill a tub with water in case water goes out. Hopefully you have underground power lines. I’m thinking you do since your power is on. if not prepare for it to go out as breaking trees take down lines. Good luck. I lived through the TX freeze a few years ago

Anne Richard’s was the last Dem to win a statewide race in TX. That was 1994. Abbott and Paxton are very good at suppressing the vote.
Prediction. Talarico runs a good race. Polls show him within margin of error. He loses by 5-6%.
