When we think of innovating, be that in our professional or personal lives:

• I want to get a job in tech
• I want to reach ASI

we often phrase such pursuits as going from point A to some imaginary state (point B).

To understand why that doesn't work, let's consider a maze.

I took a couple of months off social media as I was crushed by the choices people make.

And how the platforms I contributed to through posting influence behavior at scale.

How key figures in our society chose self-interest over the well-being of many.

Hello, World! 🙂

I stopped using social media for a couple of months now.

Mostly because I didn't want to contribute to what Twitter has become (nor be on the receiving end of the amplified half-truths AKA propaganda in certain parts of the world).

But I missed being connected to the tech world 🙂
