Building on a visualization in the 2025 Year in Review, Radar's AI Insights page now includes a view into traffic by client type: human, non-AI bot, AI bot, and "mixed purpose" (bots that crawl for search indexing & AI training).

In #Mexico, the top sources of bot traffic in 2025 were subscriber networks, while in the #UnitedStates, the top sources were cloud platforms.

Earlier today, customers of Israeli provider Cellcom experienced a ~90 minute #Internet disruption. The provider acknowledged that a "malfunction" affected connectivity, with the impact visible between 07:30-09:00 UTC.

That email from the .christmas TLD is probably naughty. In 2025, 99.8% of messages from that domain analyzed by @cloudflare.social Email Security were classified as malicious or spam. The .lol TLD wasn't much better -- it's no laughing matter.

A M7.6 earthquake occurred off the coast of Japan at 14:15 UTC, and drove a near-immediate 22% increase in request traffic from the country. A concurrent bump in traffic from mobile devices was observed at that time as well.

An hour-long Internet disruption was observed in #Benin between 17:30-18:30 UTC. Appears to be driven by a loss of traffic at Benin Telecoms, MTN Benin, and Moov Africa Benin. Unclear if it is related to the attempted coup that occurred earlier today.

Once again, damage to the Digicel Haiti international fiber optic infrastructure has knocked the network provider offline. Connectivity was lost around 07:00 UTC (02:00 local) this morning.

Although the US government shutdown is over, it will take some time for air travel to return to normal.
Aggregate 1.1.1.1 Resolver DNS traffic to flight tracking sites remained elevated into mid-week, near the levels seen when delays & cancellations grew late last week.

According to ETED, a transmission line outage is causing an interrpution in electrical service, ultimately disrupting #Internet traffic from the Dominican Republic.
Traffic dropped by nearly half, starting around 17:15 UTC.

As US air travel continues to be impacted by widespread delays and cancellations, aggregated 1.1.1.1 Resolver DNS traffic for flight tracking sites remained elevated yesterday, though just below peak traffic levels seen at the end of last week.

#Tanzania is experiencing a near-complete #Internet outage amidst election day protests. Traffic began falling around 09:30 UTC (12:30 local), now over 90% lower than the previous week.

With the eye of #HurricaneMelissa now moving off the north coast of #Jamaica, Internet traffic from the island has fallen to ~70% below previous week's levels due to infrastructure damage and power outages.
