I'm happy to share that the article "Building an Inclusive Culture at Scientific Meetings: Foundations for Future Progress" has been published in Microbiology, today. It details the #EDI framework that was implemented at @microbiologysociety.org Annual Conference.

I'm happy to share that the article "Building an Inclusive Culture at Scientific Meetings: Foundations for Future Progress" has been published in Microbiology, today. It details the #EDI framework that was implemented at @microbiologysociety.org Annual Conference.
As the year is drawing to a close, so is my 3-year appointment on the Microbiology Society's #EDI Members Panel. I would like to thank the Society for allowing me to play my small part in working on making Microbiology more accessible for historically marginalised communities.
