The courts are looking at mail-in voting laws. Mail voting is a convenient way for some people to be able to vote. Maybe Congress could establish rules for states to follow in reguards to voting deadlines and when ballets are accepted.

During a discussion of Pelosi's retirement, the consensus was that we need term limits. Another suggestion was that when elected to Congress, you need to sell all your stock holdings and can buy stock again until a year after leaving office. Too much money is earned by congresspeople thru insider

Trump says he won't be extorted by the Democrats. He will only negotiate on the ACA after thr government is reopened. When has he ever kept his word. If we reopened the government we will never see movement on the ACA until he is gone and Democrats are in charge. No Republican will vote for it.

For the 2023-2024 marketing year, China bought 24.5 metric tons of soybeans. Trump made a new deal with China for them to buy 12.5 metric tons a year. Wow, great deal Mr. Trump. Unless you use Trump math that about half of what they bought before his tariffs. Making America Great Again!

The fact that Trump is requiring federal employees to swear allegiance to him to keep their jobs is so wrong. Our country was founded on the ability to state your opinion, even if it is different than the country’s leadership. It's time to open the House of Represtatives and start impeachment.

If Republicans say that no kings protesters don't like the US, They need to look in the mirror. Those who are allowing a convicted felon to violate the constitution repeatedly and destroy national treasures are the ones who don't like our country, let alone all the grift.

Trump complained about THE DOJ weaponizing the DOJ. Looks to me like he is weaponizing it more than it ever has been done before. It was just that it went after his illegal actions.

Sometimes leadership requires compromise. If the President wants to end his shutdown, he needs to compromise a little with the Congress. His bad CR is not going to pass no matter how many times it is voted on. He is going to kill poor people who will starve because they can't afford food.

Again Trump is not following the law. But doing what he wants whether it's legal or not. The 130 million bribe for military is another example. He needs to start running the country legally not like a dictator.
