📢Freshly packed by Agostino di Francescantonio. I hope this is a convincing step towards usable devices based on MS. This idea could have never been realized without the terrific expertise in the @ongeth.bsky.social group of @rachelgrange.bsky.social @ethzurich.bsky.social

Efficient GHz electro-optical modulation with a nonlocal lithium niobate metasurface in the linear and nonlinear regime
Electro-optical modulation is widely employed for optical signal processing and in laser technology. To date, it is efficiently realized in integrated photonic systems as well as in bulk optics device...

Few weeks ago I wrote this to my team: 'I am looking for a semester project for myself. I am sometimes free on Tuesdays morning and Fridays to perform the lab work.' And guess what? I found a patient mentor, collected my first data of solution processed metasufaces and did my first Python plots. 💡🧪⚡️

There's a burst of new activity, so let's re-introduce the photonics feed:
If you're into optics and photonics, please pin+like our photonics feed 💡🧪

If you're a scientist, engineer, student, or hobbyist in optics and photonics, please let me know so you can get posting privileges

The feed grabs posts with relevant keywords

go.bsky.app/QrtPj7R Probably quite some overalp with this one that I did not see earlier 🧪
And if you want a starter pack that includes this feed and follows a bunch of relevant people: go.bsky.app/6KFK49Y

OK, I believe I have created a Photonics feed. Please go to feeds, search for Photonics, and add it to your feeds

Msg me to get added, so your posts can show up there. To post to the feed, you have to use the word "photonics" or "optics", or just use the💡emoji
