I’ve finally finished my Watership Down piece. Inspired by the book by Richard Adams.
📚

The hardest part about this project was finding a way to represent the many characters in the book. I ended up doing this by using the decorations on the hillside to represent each character.

I got to see the SIX tour tonight and it was amazing!!!! Seriously one of the best shows I’ve seen.

It’s hard to explain how satisfying making grass out of air dry clay is. It’s a pretty easy process but it brings the whole piece to life once it’s done

Anne, Hop Pop, Sprig, and Polly are in a four-way tie for my favourite character so I decided to recreate one of my favourite moments with this family: the family road trip.
The piece is made from a mix of polymer clay, watercolour paint, air dry clay, and acrylic paint.

We employ over 80 artists to carefully work on every single part of the animation and creative process.
You will never get the nuance, complexity and beauty of a Ghibli film without the human hand and their love.

We will never use AI to replace art in our works.

Well that was uplifting! A friend sent me some locally made gorgeous knitting stitch markers. Although they have claw hooks so they could also be used for charms on other things. Support Canadian artisans!

Glaze day.

This is the most pieces I’ve ever glazed at one time 😂.

I’ve been working on making elastic bookmarks for travelling. They fit snuggly around the book so they won’t fall out and the elastic is adjustable so it can fit different sizes of books.

I decided to remake some clay pieces that I first made when I was around twelve.

…. I think it’s safe to say I’ve improved since then 😂.

Throwback to a clay project I made a few years ago. It’s still one of the pieces I am the most proud of.

From a necklace to a keychain.

I absolutely love thrifting and I decided to make some keychains from thrifted items.

These street sign keychains are made using repurposed parts from a thrifted necklace.

Legend of Zelda inspired stitch markers! These ones were made from clay, plastic, and beads.

My brother loves these games and got me hooked on the lore, so I had to make these:)

Been working on some clay projects for my shop. They look kind of creepy in the sculpting phase, but eventually they look really cute. 😂 🧶

Hello! I am new to Bluesky and wanted to introduce myself.
My name’s Abigail and I love movies, animation, books, crafting, polymer clay and animals (especially hamsters). This fall I will be starting university as a theatre major and I recently started my own Etsy shop called Rabbits in the Roses.
