Back to weekly @cubecon.org discord server drafts! This week we drafted @thelamesauce.bsky.social's SauceArmyKnife x The Blade! Had fun draft with this Boros / tokens deck. There are lots of unique synergies to suss out in this draft.

Worked with my LGS to host a Win-A-Dual Pauper tournament today. Had a sweet turnout, players traveled from cities over, and got some people playing their *first* constructed magic tournament. The vibes were great on top of it all as well!

Arena Power Cube has been popping off lately, how about a #P1P1Friday from my Low Budget, High Power Cube?

This #MTGCube aims to replicate a high power cube experience at around $360 total (~a dollar a card) because no one in my playgroup had a vintage cube :-)!

2-1’d with a loss in the finals in the 6 Color Calamity Cube. Had a *blast* in this environment that treats colorless as a 6th color in the pie. This cube rocked, it was a nice Legacy Power environment with a lot of unique includes. Would love to draft this one again!

3-0’d Sammich’s Peasant Cube for the 🏆 in the Late to Dinner draft! Had an Orzhov deck and splashed for a flicker package + Synth.

A balanced cube environment and my first peasant cube! I had no expectations and was peasantly surprised. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Had a BLAST drafting @ubercubemtgpodcast.bsky.social’s Horror Cube (2-1 Gruul Wolf Aggro) then getting to play @aethervjorn.bsky.social’s Vista’s Unventured (1-2 Jund Sacrifice).

All my opponents have been so chill and down to earth. @cubecon.org is genuinely the best magic event out there.
