This toolkit was developed by the Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) research program. We did a breathing study with care staff in Long-Term Care (LTC) homes during COVID that showed positive results, including:

The federal government committed $1.5B in 2024 to launch #pharmacare, but only $928M has been directed to the first 4 partners.

This means there is enough funding to add #NB, #NS, #Newfoundland to the plan now – a cost-neutral move that would expand access immediately
