This might be the pinnacle Broth post.
There is a humorous error message in Paper Mario: Color Splash. When loading Luigi, the game does a quick "bone check" to see if his position is defined. If he fails his bone check, the developer console prints out "Luigi is elegal!!", likely a misspelling of "Luigi is illegal".

That Blue Jays defeat is one of the most heartbreaking sporting moments I've seen in a long time. Gave me flashbacks to the Euro 2020 final.

“You’re one of the good ones” is a terrifying sentiment because it means “I at some level think I am an arbiter of your social value” and, well, who asked you buddy
Very revealing that several Germans have got in touch to say that their chancellor’s comments about migrants were not directed at me. First of all, that would imply I shouldn’t care. Secondly, to imply that non-white races are inherently more likely to commit crime is an attack on *all* migrants.

will be doing some more general columns for the guardian going forward. this one is on remigration and the evolution of a far-right pipe dream into mainstream discourse. I promise they won’t all be this depressing. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
What is the endgame in this toxic immigration debate: is it friends and neighbours thrown out of the country? | Jonthan Liew
The notion of remigration was abstract, but the right is dragging it towards respectability. If the goal is homogeneous whiteness, they should say it, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Liew

If I was a big shot movie director I would make sure The Wrong Trousers ended up on the Sight and Sound Top 10 every ten years.

I really like that for The Food Channel, Christmas ends at precisely 1pm on Christmas Day. "Oh you're cooking lunch are you? Fine I guess you don't need the help of Marcus Wareing anymore."

BlueSky is trying to monetize so let's show them some numbers:

Reskeet this if you refuse to pay for BlueSky+ until trust & safety decides to prioritize marginalized users.

That's $96 / year of lost revenue for each reskeet...
