When I have the time to do so, I really enjoy immersing myself in the theme while playing Marvel Champions. Today I'm playing a two-handed game: Nightcrawler and Valkyrie vs. Hela.

Started reading this last night, and continuing this morning while watching the Thanksgiving Day parade with my wife. Every time I return to R.a. Salvatore it is like visiting an old friend. I've been enjoying his work since the 90's at it has become a staple of my life's journey.

I would watch the D&D cartoon with my Uncle Egon. He would catch me outside and, declare a "Venger Test", before racing off into the trees. This meant I had to come find him and spot his position before he saw me. A sort of fantasy special ops mission if you will. It's now something I miss dearly...

I've transitioned from straight up tabletop rpgs recently to narrative driven miniature games. Currently my favorites are Pulp Alley, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Marvel Crisis Protocol, A Song of Ice and Fire, Star Wars Legion, Masters of the Universe boardgame, and Marvel Zombies.
