Incredibly stoked to finally announce that our website has launched! What started a year ago as as a concept under the Project C working title, which then turned into Pocket Cartridge in its production phase, to now Quest Break as we start this adventure!
I’ve never been an Xbox gamer, but always saw the value in GamePass (prior to the price jump).

I do love my PS5 Pro, but with their rising costs too, I’ve been toying with the idea of it being my last console and sticking to PC.

Now with the Steam Machine, the answer is clear.

Valve, ya got me.

I might do a full review, but it’ll be very short due to the heavy emphasis on story and choices for this type of game. But if I don’t, just know that you owe it to yourself to play this. It’s yet another GOTY contender.
Completed the final 2 episodes of Dispatch tonight, and I’m so happy to report that they stuck the landing.

While I am satisfied with my playthrough and how my story ended, I’m seriously contemplating doing another run with the other choices. It was THAT good!

What. A. Game.

Decided to pickup Possessor(s) as well tonight, despite the middling reviews. 2hrs in so far, first boss beat, I’m having a blast!

Don’t listen to reviews guys!!

I have a hard stance against AI, but even I can recognize the AI use in ARC Raiders is different. While I still don’t like it, the fact is that Embark hired real actors who signed on for their voice to be used in this manner. The AI at play here didn’t take jobs away from the voice actors.
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Reminiscent of classic platformers from the 90’s, Windswept harkens back to the days of Nintendo’s greatest. If you’ve ever wanted something akin to a spiritual successor of the Donkey Kong Country series, than look no further.

Fuck. Ok. I played 5 & 6.
God fucking damn. Incredible.

I’ve been playing an episode of Dispatch every night in the lead up to the finale episodes this week. BUT after just finishing Episode 4, I think I might just binge 5 and 6… What do y’all think? It’s getting “super” interesting

Played ARC Raiders last night in a full squad, and man, pure fun. Embark literally said dump players into an interesting map with hostile AI, and just let them interact. So good!

Went and saw the Chainsaw Man movie last night, and my god, Mappa does it again!! They’re just pure talent. Absolute gorgeous artistry on display! Loved it.

I completed Ball x Pit the other day, over the span of about 3 days and like 18hrs… absolutely incredible, its hooks were in me!

Tonight I needed something easy going. Started up Dispatch, and what a perfect choice, about 45min for EP 1 and just enough setup to see the vision

Indie Gaming Roundup: The Séance of Blake Manor, Quartet, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, and Ball x Pit
Welcome to crunch time for gaming in 2025. We only have a few months left in the year, and I feel like I’m nowhere close to playing all the games I want to play before my end of year coverage…

Westen is singling me out here and I don’t appreciate it. Literally called his article “QuestBreak is such a loser for waiting to binge Dispatch” 😭
If you are holding off on playing Dispatch until all eight episodes release, I have something to tell you.

You are being a coward.

Yeah, I don't usually like waiting for new episodes for a game, either. But the wait will enhance this game. Here's why.

Dispatch Is Showing Me The Value Of Waiting
I despise waiting. Whenever I see a line at a store, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to avoid it. I hate sitting in the waiting room at my dentist. I hate being in drive-thrus if there ar…

PM bump for The Lonesome Guild! Checkout the review below if you happened to miss it, and thanks to everyone who’s already given it a click! 🫡
A story wrapped in a cute aesthetic with the tale of trauma, family dynamics, sociological issues, religion, and even the disdain of others. It’s not what I expected going in, but for that I’m grateful.

Debating on grabbing Dispatch tomorrow and doing the whole week-to-week affair, or binging it once it’s all out in another few weeks 🤔

I want to be abundantly clear… this was because of ARC Raiders…

If anyone needs a teammate at launch, you’ll know where to find me 🫡
Update: 1 Game/Review completed! I’ve started the 2nd game, but don’t know if I’ll finish it time by embargo, so you might see that one from me this weekend! I tried y’all 😅
