What?! Oh no. He lives/lived (ugh) in the same part of town as me, and there were certain times when I would run into him multiple times a week. I didn't know him (except being his video store clerk) but in my mind I'd go, "Ugh, Bud Cort - stop following me!" :(

Last week I watched tracking for a package of mine go from Novato, CA to here in Los Angeles, then to someplace back east, then Arkansas, and finally back here. Just baffling

This is a whole 'nother subject but I HATED how career-tracked even electives were. I wanted to take music and auto shop and journalism but they just wouldn't let you do shop if 1) you were a girl and 2) had decent college prospects. You had to fill that space up "strategically" 😡

All the math horror stories here are seriously bumming me out. I'm so sorry you all had to go through shit like that. Math was a pretty soothing place for me for a while and a lot of that was the teachers. I feel very lucky

I think it’s just really hard right now just staying sane. I usually try to work out - like enough to make you lose your breath a little - to get back in a normal headspace but I tried that last week and now I have a bronchial infection
