I don’t think it’s that vague. They’re pretty much all either fancy weapons (Prima’s Star Saber, Megatronus’ Requiem Blaster, Solus’ Forge Hammer) or funky talismans/rocks (OP’s Zodiac, Quintus’ Ember Stone, Nexus’ Enigma of Combination) emblazoned with the Prime’s logo.

I'm still humming and hawing over going to Rendr. On one hand there's some cool panels and people going, and networking could be good, on the other hand the tickets are quite dear and (as a first year illustration student) I don't think I've got much to be networking with.

No worries. A lot of Storm Collectible's stuff does fall into the higher price range, so it's not a wild assumption to make if you're not familiar with Jada.
I don't have any myself, but from everything I hear Jada's stuff is awesome for the price, so I'd definitely recommend having a look.

Jada's 6" line is about the same price as Hasbro's figures tend to be (£25 per figure here in the UK).

The enigma is there, plugged into the folded up nosecone, it just kinda blends in because they decided to have the whole thing visible apart from the more colourful core.

While I don't think the robot mode is particularly compromised (as that's just the aesthetic of the TFOne design they chose to go with), I must agree with you otherwise. There is no excuse for the vehicle mode to look so bad when the torso mode also just looks like the robot doing yoga.

If (by some divine luck) Windcharger goes on clearance I'm definitely grabbing one to have a spare toon head to repaint for a Retro version. I prefer the toy's grey by miles, but I don't really vibe with the toy masks as much as the toon faces (aside from maybe Bee and Huffer).

IDK, the toys might have been rubbish but I don't think the aesthetic was that bad, especially when TFCC Nexus had the benefit of reusing various molds to not have duplicate limbs.
