These don't look too bad, though the lack of double jointed elbows is a bit unfortunate for characters from movie with such dynamic action. Although I'm not 100% sure if these are 4" or 6", so I suppose it's fair enough if it's the former.

Finally finished my Pokémon Mega Starmie redesign! While I don’t mind the official version, I thought it was a bit boring so I decided to expand on the Starmie line’s Ultraman Influence to make a version of my own. Here’s the design sheets for both the regular and shiny versions. (1/)

Digital drawing of the back and front of my Mega Starmie redesign inspired by Ultraman, which looks like a purple humanoid starfish with another starfish on its back, yellow bands running around its body (mimicking the patterns of Ultraman’s costume), a red gem in the centre of its body, and translucent red eye projections. There is a small image of a ‘flight mode’ which shows the star on Mega Starmie’s back with an additional red projection of aircraft windows with eyes on them. There are also various reference images of Staryu, Starmie, shiny Starmie, Mega Starmie, Ultraman, and the jet VTOL from Ultraman. I’m currently thinking of grabbing Zeztz, Demons and the Ex-Aid Rider 3-pack, though I have to check if all that falls under the customs threshold. If not I might get Cross-z instead of the set and leave that for another time. Good picks?

Kinda tempted to get into Kamen Rider Figuarts. I used to get my 6“ Rider fix from FRS kits, but those releases have slowed to a crawl, and with the rising prices of western figures, SHF prices aren’t looking quite as outrageous as before.

This has been keeping me busy as the release date approaches, a fanzine collating accounts of growing up with Transformers the Movie and G1 in general, put together by @clementnickel.bsky.social ‬

Here's the cover that I've done, I've also done art and comics for the interior too.
